To Sua Swimming Hole, Vavau, Samoa |
|
This waterhole was one of the highlights of my trip to Samoa. Located in the backyard of a local Samoan family and right on the coast, the waterhole is a natural wonder. A gap at the bottom of one of the walls allows water from the ocean to come in, and the water level changes with the tide. Although salt water, it is really clear and refreshing and just feels so cool to swim around especially when you have the palace all to yourself. The ladder has been upgraded recently, and locals tell of a time when the ladder was much more worn and dangerous! |
